Nixu SNS Certified on HP ProLiant Servers

Nixu Software, a member of Hewlett-Packard's Developer & Solution Partner Program, has today announced the certification of Nixu SNS on Hewlett-Packard ProLiant server series. To highlight the benefits of running Nixu SNS on HP ProLiant, HP and Nixu Software have published a joint solution paper as well as performance test papers. With Nixu SNS and HP ProLiant servers, users can install a secure, dedicated DNS server appliance in their network in less than an hour thanks to the automated installation process of Nixu SNS. Co-operation with HP allows customers to choose the HP ProLiant server platform that best meets their exact performance and budget requirements. While traditional hardware-based DNS appliances from vendors such as US-based Infoblox are priced at $4,000 (US) and upwards, a dedicated DNS appliance running Nixu SNS on HP ProLiant platform can be had for as little as $1,500 (US), slashing the required investment by more than 50%.
