NameSurfer Spun Off to Nixu Software Limited

Nixu has spun off its NameSurfer business to Nixu Software Limited as of April 1 2006. After the spin-off, Nixu Ltd - the parent company of Nixu Group - will focus on Professional Services whereas Nixu Software continues to develop Nixu's DNS and IP address management business further. Nixu Software Limited is a 100% owned affiliate of Nixu with offices in Helsinki, Finland and Oulu, Finland. Juha Holkkola has been appointed as the Managing Director of Nixu Software.

Said Juha Holkkola: "I'm confident this arrangement will provide Nixu Software with an excellent foundation to develop Nixu's existing DNS business further. We have made new product innovations that we expect to patent, and look forward to making inroads to new accounts as well as to deepen the existing ones with our upcoming products."

Nixu NameSurfer is a DNS and IP address management solution that is used in roughly 3.000 DNS installations worldwide. The installed base includes hundreds of service providers as well as many Fortune500 companies.
