Nixu SNS Publicly Available

Nixu Software has made public release of Nixu Secure Name Server (SNS). Nixu SNS can now be downloaded for evaluation from the Download & Buy section of Nixu Software's website.

Nixu Secure Name Server (SNS) is a new breed of DNS software appliances based on Nixu Software's patent-pending method for securing DNS appliances. It is the first DNS server in the world to incorporate Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) on hardened Linux O/S, protecting organizations from common security threats such as Denial of Service attacks, port scans, and DNS cache poisoning attempts.

Being a software appliance, Nixu SNS will be sold as annual subscriptions priced at USD 495 / server / year including maintenance and support. Nixu SNS supports all the same hardware platforms as RedHat Enterprise Linux.
