MidtVest Bredbånd Selects Nixu NameSurfer and Nixu SNS

Nixu Software and MidtVest Bredbånd of Denmark have agreed on the deployment of Nixu's end-to-end DNS and IP address management solution in MidtVest Bredbånd's network. The agreement covers Nixu NameSurfer Suite and Nixu Secure Name Server software licenses as well as professional services provided by Nixu. MidtVest Bredbånd will be using Nixu's solution in a Triple Play setting used to provide VoIP and IPTV services as well as High-Speed Internet connectivity in the Jutland region.

MidtVest Bredbånd is at the forefront of the service provisioning industry. The company aims to provide Fibernet connectivity to all households and companies in Middle and West Jutland by 2012. MidtVest Bredbånd's plans involve digging up 30.000 kilometers of cable and laying 18 million kilometers of fiber to the Jutland soil. Once the infrastructure has been completed, MidtVest Bredbånd will be able to offer inexpensive Internet telephony and super-sharp TV broadcasts as well as blazingly fast Internet connectivity anywhere within their geographical area.
